Make the plan, then make it real

You have important work to do, and you want to see it through. Yet the weeks keep passing, getting filled with urgent items and other people’s priorities.

What if you had protected time each week to block out distractions and get meaningful work done consistently?

Introducing The Momentum Sessions

The Momentum Sessions are dedicated live calls to help you make a plan, then show up and get the work done.

It’s 6 weeks of accountability + structured work time so you don’t just set an intention, you also back it up with action.

If you’ve got important work to get done and you’re not giving it the attention it deserves, it’s time to protect a few hours each week to see it through.

Something needs to change…

  • You have work that matters, but it keeps getting pushed aside
  • You keep saying it’s a priority… and then not touching it
  • You work well when there’s a deadline, but this work is self-directed
  • You’ve had strong bursts of effort before, but can’t seem to re-create it
  • You are tired of watching yourself put off work until later

Stop waiting for perfect timing or future you

It’s easy to fall into the trap of waiting until things calm down or for the future version of you who will finally get it together. Except you live in the present, and present you has work to do.

What if instead of waiting, you dedicate 10% of your work week to getting important work done consistently?

Why choose The Momentum Sessions?

If you’ve read this far, odds are good you work best when there is a true deadline. But when work is flexible and could be done at any time? That’s when things fall through the cracks.

Yes, you could block off time on Monday to plan and add a couple of 2-hour blocks to work, but will you follow it consistently?

The truth is, a lot of people struggle with self-imposed time blocks. There is nothing wrong with you if that’s the case. It’s just not an effective technique for every person.

Turn your internal commitments into external ones

If you tend to put off your own plans but follow through when there’s accountability, the answer is to use accountability.

The Momentum Sessions are for people who follow through more consistently when someone else is involved.

Lean into what actually works for you.

Six weeks. Real Progress.

$150 USD

Turn intention into action every week:

  • 20-min Monday check-in call

A Message from Cat…

For a long time, I felt ashamed about how inconsistent I was with follow-through. I was a smart, capable person, yet I kept putting off work that didn’t have a real deadline.

I wished I were more self-directed. To be like the people who say they’ll do something and that’s enough to see it through.

Turns out, that’s not how I’m wired.
And, I’m far from alone.

If you are like me and struggle to follow through when there’s no deadline or external accountability, I hope you’ll join me for the Spring Cohort of The Momentum Sessions.

Leaning into what works for you is a form of self-respect. It’s about making a commitment to yourself and seeing it through using effective techniques. If accountability and working alongside others helps you to follow through, this program can help.

Future you will be thankful you made this choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s okay if you can’t make every call.

Ideally, you can make the majority of the calls. For example, attending most check-ins and at least one of the co-working calls per week.

For co-working calls, you are welcome to join for part of the call if you can’t attend the full 2-hour block.

The Monday check-in call is a 20-min accountability call to set and share your intention for the week.

The goal of the call is to reflect on how last week’s plan went, set your plan and priority for the coming week, and share your plan with the group.

Co-working calls are for working independently at the same time as others on a Zoom call. For many people, working in the presence of others who are also working helps them stay focused and accountable, also known as body doubling.

Call Format (using 2 – 4 pm ET timing)
2:00 pm: Welcome, share what you’re working on
2:05 pm: Mute your mic, get to work
3:00 pm: Mid-way check-in
3:05 pm: Mute your mic, get to work
3:55 pm: Final check-in

Can’t join for the whole call? No problem. Show up whenever you can and share what you are working on in the chat.

No. None of the calls will be recorded.

All the calls are based on Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), which is UTC-4.
