BJ Fogg’s Behavior Model
Action happens when the combination of motivation and ability exceed the action line when prompted. When a prompt falls below the action line, you can make it easier to do or increase motivation.
Since increasing motivation is more difficult to do, it’s best to start with making it easier so you don’t require high levels of motivation in order to take action.
